1950 in Saitama, Japan.

¤ Family: Married to Miyuki with 2 daughters Emi 16 and Ei 14.
¤ Education: University of London, Post-Graduate Dissertation in
International Economic Law.

¤ Profession: Human Resources (Foreign Language Teachers). Also,
running a language school.
¤ Hobbies: I teach judo. I enjoy playing tennis and golf as well.
¤ Special Interests: There is an English variety called "Singlish"
in Singapore and it is to a great extent understood by native English
speakers in my view. There is an English variety called "Japlish"
in Japan which is only understood amongst Japanese people and some Asian
people, but it is not understood by native English speakers. Why is it
not? Also, I would like to know the role of English in Malaysia and
Brunei.
