¤ Born March 7,
1968 in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.
¤ Family: Married to Yoko with two children. One of them is 3
months old and the other is 2 years old.
¤ Education: B.A., Bunkyo University.
¤ Profession: I worked for a department store for 2 years just
after graduation. Then I worked for a municipal board of education
for a year.

For the last 10 years I
have been working in the public senior high school system.
¤ Hobbies: Tennis, traveling, running, walking, cycling and language
studies.
¤ Special Interests: In Japan, students are keen on learning
English at first, but later many of them in the end give up on English. In
Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, they succeed in making English their
strength. I want to know some of the differences amongst the educational
systems in these countries and Japan and to find a solution to improve our
education system.
