Team Member - KATSUTOSHI KUROSE (Sponsored by Sayama RC) 

¤ Born July 14, 1974, in Fukuoka, Japan. Single.
¤ Family: Mother and elder sister (with her husband and her two boys).
¤ Education: M.A., University of Tsukuba, Japan.
¤ Profession: I had been a teacher of English at Bunri Junior/Senior high school for a year.  

I am now a primary school teacher of English and Information Technology (Bunri Elementary School) and a lecturer at Bunri University of Hospitality.
¤ Hobbies: Playing and watching sports (especially baseball and rugby football), driving and socializing with friends and colleagues.
¤ Expectations: 1. Visiting native primary schools to observe what the students learn in English class, how the instructors teach the students, and the way that the students acquire the English language as their native (or the second) language.  2. Comparing primary school English education methods of the native schools and Japanese schools in Singapore to that of Bunri Elementary School.   3. Finding new ways of instructing Japanese primary school pupils in English, which would be the most adequate ones in educational systems, environments and cultures in Japan.
