¤ Born Oct. 9,
1963 in Saitama, Japan.
¤ Family: Married to Haruyo with a son age 7.
¤ Education: B.A. English literature, Mejigakuin University in
Tokyo.
¤ Profession: After graduation, I worked for a publich high school
for 3 years, and then I obtained a job as a teacher for a cram
school in Saitama Prefecture.

I was promoted to the
head of their branch. Now, 3 years have passed since I became a private
high school teacher.
¤ Hobbies: I am fond of cars, motorcycles, basketball, and personal
computing. Everyday I enjoy instructing students in basketball as an
assistant coach in our school.
¤ Expectations: Since I mainly teach English for written university
entrance examinations I would like to research how students are prepared
for spoken and written examinations in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. So
I hope to improve my proficiency in conversational English on this
exchange and bring back to my school in Japan what I have studied in
District 3310.
