A Farewell dinner was held for our Rotarian Kevin Thompkin who left for the United States to take up a new work assignment. The president in the center together with PP Chieng Lee Ching, PP Andre Suharto, Rtn Kevin and Rtn Augustine Wong- 8th July 2001

24th July 2001 President Sim Cho Phong with PP Chieng Lee Ching and PP K.C. WOng paid a Courtesy call on YB. Puan Lily Yong (then the political secretary in the Chief Minister Office). President Sim brief YB. Puan Lily Yong on the club activities and also extended a copy of the club souvenir Magazine to YB.

On 23rd July 2001- President Sim together with PP Frankie Yang, PP Bobby Chai, PP Patrick Yu, Rtn Aw Tai Hui and PP Chieng Lee Ching attended a weekly meeting at Kuching Club where PDG John Cheah gave talk on Member Extension and Retention.

On the 15th day of Chinese Lunar Calendar the Rotarian and Spouse were having "Yee San" at one of the weekly meeting

The Formation of The Rotary Club of Petra Jaya-
PP Chieng Lee Ching together with PP K.C. Wong and PP Andre Suharto attended the 2nd interest meeting of the then provisional Rotary Club of Petra Jaya. The club has since been chartered on the 10th June 2002 under the chairmanship of PP Chieng.
