Fund raising sales for School for the Mentally Retarded, attended by Rtn Wilford Teo, Sim Choo Phong, Chieng Lee Ching and Wong Kho Ching. Collected about RM300-400 all proceeds donated to the organisation.

Betong Bus Stop Shed handing over ceremony at Kampung Debak. 7 Rotarians attended, viz Jacob D Sagan, Chieng Lee Ching, Wilford Teo, Dr. Samuel Kiyui, Zainal A Ahmad, Goh Hee Seng.
 
International Cultural Concert organised by Kuching High Interact Club and sponsored by us was held at St. Thomas's School, Datuk Wong Kim Min Hall. About 150 people attended. Kuching Central represented by Rtn. Frankie Yang, Michael Chew, Michael Hii, Ee Guan Teck, Loa Djin Liang. The theme of the I.U. Nite was "To Promote International Understanding Towards Peace."
