About 55 old folks assisted by Interactors and Teacher Advisors visited the Damai Cultural Village. Attended by Rtn. James Hii, Odita Ibrahim and Chieng Lee Ching.
 
6th Board of Directors Meeting held at Rtn. Wilford Teo's residence.
 
Fund raising joggerthon held withstarting and finishing point at St. Thomas's Secondary School Carpark. President-Elect Frankie Yang as Organising Chairman. Total amount of RM12,000.00 were raised including sponsored prizes for the project.
 
4th Pan-Borneo Inter-club Meet at Premier Hotel, Sibu from 9th to 11th March, 1990.
 
Six Rotarians: James Hii, Chieng Lee Ching, Michael Hii, Goh Hee Seng, Michael Chew and Patrick Yu attended.

President James Hii announced the project at Suspension Bridge was cancelled and the fund to be used for purchasing of library books for five rural primary schools recommended by Education Department.

President-Elect Frankie Yang announced the Installation Night would be on 14th July, 1990 at Holiday Inn.
 
Hari Raya Puasa. Rotarians greeted one another and their friends "Selamat Hari Raya".

40th Weekly Meeting.
 
The Guru Besars of five rural primary schools of SRK Dato Traoh, Kota Samarahan, SRK Tebakang, SRB St. Edwards, Belimbing, Padawan, SRK Bau, SRK Kelali, Semera, Simunjan were present to receive library books at cost of RM400 per school from President James Hii. Assistant Education Officer Encik Arthur Lim was also present to witness the simple ceremony.
 
DG K.B. Lee arrived from K.L. to make his second visit to Our Club. Lunch at 1.00 p.m. at DG Representative PP Rtn. Edwin Liew's residence. 2.00 p.m. meeting with President James Hii, President-Elect Frankie Yang, Secretary-Elect Dr. Samuel Kiyui. 4.00 p.m. Golf at KGS, Petra Jaya. 8.00 p.m. Dinner of Club members with DG K.B. Lee at Kuching Hilton.
 
Attended 21st Rotaract District Conference with DG K.B. Lee at Holiday Inn hosted by Rotaract Club of Kuching.
 
Rotarians attended "Welcoming Dinner for Delegates" for the 21st Rotaract District Conference at Holiday Inn, Kuching.

Members Rtn. Philip Tang, Ee Guan Teck and Patrick Yu gave their views and expectations on Rotary work and activities.
 
President James Hii informed in the meeting that he wrote to Rotary Club of Queenstown, Singapore inviting them to visit Sarawak during "Visit Malaysia Year".
 
President Edward Wong wrote to Club requesting for message from President and President-Elect for installation of 16th President Teo Pok Zin on 2.7.1990.

Congratulations to IPP Jacob Sagan for receiving Silver Medal of Youth Award.
 
Speaker: Major Patricia Walton of Salvation Army. She talked on Salvation Army work.
 
President James Hii handed over cheque of RM250 to Major Patricia being Club's contribution to the Salvation Army on the occassion of the 40th Anniversary in Sarawak.

44th Weekly Meeting.
 
IPP Jacob Sagan was elected as Youth Service Director for the incoming year 1990-1991 in place of Rtn. Goh Hee Seng who had earlier declined the post.
 
45th Weekly Meeting.
 
New Rotary song "Honor Rotary" was practiced by members during meeting.
 
3rd Installation of Interact Club of Kuching High attended by Rtn. James Hii, Frankie Yanf and Wilford Teo.
